We all know G20 Summit 2023 in India as one of the major successful event done by government of India. Lets move forward by taking it as an example to understand the terminology of marketing. We all started noticing G20 when we saw the signs on roads, mall, metro & buildings etc. this part of the process is called as advertising.
Later on in the advertisements different cultures of India were represented in a very attractive manner like dance performances, events with the help of some influencers and celebrities in different zones which transformed the process into promotion. This made our respectable representatives of different states to give a response on the upcoming event through newspaper, new channels or radio to address their cultures getting advertised globally turned it into publicity.
Leaders of states like Chief Minister, Mayors, Home Minister etc gave a response to all the above mentioned activities happening around made it into public relations. Further more they called a press conference to give a legit announcement for socio-political awareness turned it into sales.
This whole process was designed by a trained research team who planned it from beginning to end. This is what we call marketing according to our real world analysis. There are many definitions on internet you can go through but don’t mislead it. Understand the context of the word that how it is getting used in different areas of discussion. Rest it is up to us that how we calculate the right meaning of word marketing around us for better human understanding.
